    I don’t like running an additional magwell on my Gen 5 G19, the stock grip has never troubled me. But my hand is just large enough that my pinky rests on the edge of the bottom of the grip. These flared base plates take care of the issue and give my finger a place to rest without slipping. The tiny bit of added weight also allows quicker mag drops on empty. A tiny upgrade that makes a huge difference.
