Sons of Liberty Gun Works M89 DRIVE LOCK RAIL

What makes the M89 Rail special?  Lockup and rigidity.  The new rail uses the Drive Lock lockup system.  Not only does it clamp the rail onto the barrel nut, but due to the bias of the hole geometry, as the hardware is tightened, it draws the hand guard into the upper receiver.  This makes for a rock solid lockup between the entire upper.

The revolutionary, patent-pending Drivelock design, uses three independent wedges that interface with the angular grooves in our proprietary barrel nut. This system clamps the rail onto the steel barrel nut with extreme force and precision, while also driving the handguard rearward towards the upper receiver. The slightly larger ID of that extrusion gives us more real estate around the gas block, even more rigidity than the M76, and takes longer to heat.

    I own two of these Sons of liberty gun works M89 drive lock rails. The are without a doubt very solid setups. Finish is fantastic like all Solgw.
