Ultem 1000 is a high-performance thermoplastic material known for its excellent mechanical properties, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. It is a polyetherimide (PEl) that is often used in demanding applications across various industries, including aerospace, medical, automotive, and electronics.

***Professional gunsmith recommended for installation. A small amount of blue loctite is required for front sight screw, hand tight 3-5 in-lbs. of torque, only after double checking the front sight alignment is centered (no more than 3-5lbs of torque). Let cure for 24hrs before use. These incredible custom sights are stronger than factory polymer iron sights but just like any non metallic sight they are venerable to damage if dropped or misused. A small amount of gun oil is recommended in the rear dovetail during installation of the rear sight. Use of professional gun smith front/rear sight installation tools is required for proper installation Ultem sights are not recommended for pistols with ports forward of the front sight, ported gasses may burn or break sights.
